Training

Our training methods are tailored to the individual dog and move at a pace that neither over taxes the dog nor becomes boring.  We have patterned our overall approach after the Delmar Smith Silent Command System with some variations.   We accomplish a nice finished dog using soft touch teaching methods.  We utilize the check cord, time, and patience as our most valuable training tools. 

It is our policy at Dalin Kennels to produce a well mannered hunting companion that wants to hunt for you whether you are trialing or just hunting.  Remember dogs are bred to hunt, but trained to mind.
